Khaled al-Maghir, a Palestinian holding Bulgarian citizenship who was probably kidnapped by Hamas Islamists in Gaza Strip, has been released Friday evening, Sofia Focus News Agency reported early on Saturday.

The Bulgarian citizen is in good condition, and the Bulgarian Embassies in Israel and Jordan have been informed of the release of al-Maghir, the report said.

The Bulgarian Foreign Ministry announced on Thursday that a Palestinian Bulgarian, who had applied to be evacuated to Bulgaria, did not show up in the place where the other Bulgarians were gathering Thursday morning.
Witnesses said he had been taken out of his home by unidentified persons.

The report said al-Maghir will be transported to Bulgaria in days.
