Al Qaida's NO. 2 threatens more attacks on Britain |

Al Qaida deputy chief Ayman al-Zawahri on Tuesday issued a new audiotape on the Internet threatening more terrorist attacks on Britain, if the country did not change its diplomatic policies adopted by former Prime Minister Tony Blair.
The al Qaida NO. 2 said in 20-minute messages that Blair's policies in the Middle East "has brought tragedy and defeat upon you, not only in Afghanistan and Iraq but also in the center of London."
He added "if you did not absorb the lessons, we are ready to repeat it for you."
The British government responded to the new tape, saying that "We will continue to tackle the threat from international terrorism as a priority in order to prevent the risk of attacks on British interests at home and overseas, including from al Qaida."
Al-Zawahri has issued eight video messages this year, along with a number of audio speeches. His previous tape was distributed last week by as-Sahab, the al Qaida's media wing.
