Khaleda Jarrar, a PLC member from the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), told reporters that the parliament "must remain away from political rivalries to carry out its role of surveillance."

She called on Hamas to rejoin the session in order to prevent Abbas from issuing more decrees threatening the Palestinian political system which is based on separation between the three legislative, executive and judicial powers.
