Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe has commended security forces for maintaining social peace and assisting the government in the ongoing price stabilization program, New Ziana reported on Monday. "I commend our security forces for the assistance they have given to various government programs, with the latest being price stabilization exercise," he said. Speaking at the Presidential Medal Shooting Competition held at the Cleveland Rifle Range on Sunday, Mugabe applauded the role played by security forces in containing the machinations of the country's enemies, one of which included price distortions. "The role played by security forces in containing the machinations of our detractors and ensuring our tranquil environment is praiseworthy," he said. The support shown by the security forces reflected an invaluable aid to the creation of the necessary economic conditions for the development of the country, he added.
