He cited the case of seed houses whose prices the government stipulate but which the taskforce ordered to be reduced by half.

"How do you reduce prices that you gave them?" he asked.

Msika also castigated the government ministers and officials who implemented the land reform program for going beyond their mandate by chasing away all white people from the farms.

"We did not say that we should take all farms from the whites," he said.

"Some of the dairy farms that we took, we no longer have milk in this country."

The country''s land policy stipulated the one-man one-farm philosophy as well as maximum farm sizes, he said, adding it did not say that all whites should be chased from the farms.
