Chief negotiator of the Republic of Korea(ROK) Chun Yung Woo on Wednesday said the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) demonstrated the willingness to disable its nuclear facilities and declare all its nuclear programs in five to six months.

Chun said he consulted with DPRK chief envoy Kim Kye-Gwan for one hour on Wednesday morning, with Kim saying that his country would declare all of its nuclear programs without any omission.

According to Chun, the heads of delegations to the six-party talks also held a one-hour meeting on Wednesday afternoon. The envoys mainly discussed how to implement steps in the next stage. The steps include the DPRK's disablement of its nuclear facilities and its declaration of all nuclear programs, and corresponding measures that would be taken by the other five parties.

The talks were held in frank and pragmatic atmosphere, Chun added.

The six-party talks aimed at resolving the nuclear issue on the Korean Peninsula group China, the DPRK, the United States, ROK, Russia and Japan.
