Former chief receives another 14 years of imprisonment in Cambodia |

The local court here on Wednesday sentenced former Phnom Penh police chief Heng Pov to 14 years in jail in Cambodia for possession of 30,000 U.S. dollars in counterfeit notes.
His wife Ngin Sotheavy received 13-year term for the same case.
The police found the money at his home in January this year, according to the court.
Heng Pov fled Cambodia in July 2006 after he was sacked as police chief.
In September 2006, he was sentenced to 18 years in jail for his role in murdering a Cambodian judge.
Heng Pov was deported from Malaysia in December 2006 and in March 2007 received seven more years in jail for detaining a woman for more than two months without charges.
