Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf on Wednesday sent a message of condolences and sympathies to his Brazilian counterpart over the losses in the crash of Brazilian passenger airliner in Sao Paulo, the News Network International (NNI) news agency reported.

"I wish to express our deep sorrow and grief over the tragic crash of a TAM Airlines plane at Sao Paulo's airport which has resulted in the loss of many precious lives," Musharraf said in his message to Mr. Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, the President of the Federative Republic of Brazil.

A Brazilian passenger jet crashed in flames at Sao Paulo's main airport on Wednesday, killing about 200 people.
