Two Palestinian militants were killed in an Israeli airstrike on northern Gaza Strip on Sunday afternoon, medics and witnesses reported. Eyewitnesses said an Israeli air-to-ground missile struck a group of Islamic Jihad (Holy War) militants after they launched one homemade rocket from northern Gaza Strip at southern Israel. Medics at Kamal Odwan Hospital in northern Gaza Strip said that Palestinian ambulances had brought two bodies of the militants, adding that there were no more injuries. Earlier Sunday, Israeli forces staged a pre-dawn ground operation in northern Gaza Strip, killing two militants from Islamic Hamas movement which holds the enclave.
