Lebanese Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah on Monday warned that his group's rockets could reach any spot of Israel, including Tel Aviv, pan-Arabic al- Jazeera television reported.

During last summer's war with Israel, Hezbollah rockets were able to hit "Tel Aviv or other than Tel Aviv," Nasrallah said in an interview with al-Jazeera.

"Every corner and every spot in occupied Palestine was absolutely within the reach of our rockets," Nasrallah was quoted as saying, adding that "even now, it can certainly be reached."

During the 34-day Israel-Hezbollah conflict last summer, the Shiite group fired nearly 4,000 rockets at northern Israel, including several medium-range missiles that for the first time hit Israel's third-largest city, Haifa.

Nasrallah has previously said his group increased its stock of missiles since the war ended. In a speech in October, he said the guerrillas had 33,000 rockets - up from the 22,000 he said they had on Sept. 22.

The UN-brokered cease-fire that ended the war expanded United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon to 13,000 troops, entrusting it with ensuring that Hezbollah is not rearming near the Lebanon- Israel border.

Last summer's conflict began when Hezbollah men attacked an Israeli border patrol on July 12, 2006, killing three soldiers and capturing two.

The fighting left more than 1,200 people killed in Lebanon, most of them civilians. In Israel 159 people died, including 119 soldiers.
