One person was killed by a southern Nepal armed group, Janatantrik Terai Mukti Morcha (Terai Democratic Liberation Front) Jwala Singh faction (JTMM-J), local leading media group's website THT Online reported Friday. On Thursday afternoon, cadres of the JTMM-J shot dead the abducted man named Duryodhan Dhanuk in Bara district, some 80 km south of capital Kathmandu. Head of JTMM-Jwala in Bara district, Tabarej Bhai, claimed the responsibility for the murder. He told media persons over telephone that a JTMM-J team shot Dhanuk as he "was involved in illegal activities" in the name of the JTMM-J. JTMM-J is an armed group claiming a separate state in southern Nepal, Terai region.
