The Vietnamese government and people want to cooperate with the Democratic People's Republic of Korea ( DPRK) in all fields, aiming to bring benefits to the both sides, said Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung.

Dung, in his meeting with DPRK Ambassador to Vietnam Ma Chol Su here Thursday, said the ambassador should be a bridge to beef up the bilateral cooperation, Vietnam News Agency reported Friday.

The ambassador said the DPRK is actively preparing for an upcoming visit to Vietnam by its prime minister.

The future visit will create development steps in DPRK-Vietnam ties, especially in the fields of economy, trade and investment, the ambassador said.
