The body of a second killed South Korean hostage was found in central Afghanistan, the police said Tuesday.
The body, which was riddled with bullets, was found in Andar district on Monday night, Alishah Ahmadzai, police chief of Ghazni province, where the hostages are being held, told Xinhua.
The Taliban has killed a second hostage on Monday night, a purported Taliban spokesman Yousuf Ahmadi said.
Ahmadi said the male hostage was shot dead at around 8:30 p.m. (1600 GMT) as the Afghan government was not serious in the talks.
He said the dead body was dumped near Ghazni-Kandahar highway.
Ahmadi has insisted the exchange of Taliban prisoners for the hostages.
A total of 23 South Koreans were kidnapped by Taliban militants on a road in the central Ghazni province on July 19. One male hostage was executed by Taliban insurgents on July 25.
