A blast in Parachinar in northwestern Pakistan's Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) left four people dead and dozens of others injured on Saturday, a local Pakistani TV channel DAWN NEWS reported.

The blast occurred at a highly crowded bus stand in the Sadda town of FATA when a bearded driver's car smashed into a Suzuki van, DAWN NEWS quoted witnesses as saying.

The injured were shifted to a local hospital and six of them were in critical condition, according to DAWN NEWS.

Official confirmation and other details of the blast are not immediately available.
