8 killed, 7 injured in tragic accident in Bangladesh |

Eight boys of a high school were killed and another seven people injured in a tragic road accident in Bangladesh's southeastern Chittagong district Monday, private news agency UNB reported.
Officials said, a passenger bus rammed into a CNG-run auto- rickshaw carrying 10 schoolboys of a high school, during a heavy rainfall at about 7:45 a.m.
Five schoolboys died on the spot while three others on way to hospital. Identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.
The injured including two schoolboys and auto-rickshaw driver and four bus passengers were admitted to the Chittagong Medical College Hospital.
The tragic accident took place when the students were going to their school to sit for the second term examination.
Police recovered the five bodies from the spot and sent those to CMCH morgue for autopsy.
After the accident, agitated mob barricaded the road for one and half-hours. On information, police rushed to the spot and removed the barricade.
The law enforcers arrested helper of the bus but failed to arrest the driver. They also seized the bus.
