Two illegal immigrants were killed and 32 others injured on Tuesday when a truck carrying them capsized in eastern Turkey, the semi-official Anatolia news agency reported.
The report said that 27 wounded immigrants received outpatient treatment at Van State Hospital after the accident near Yukari Bakracli village of Van province, adding that five immigrants who suffered from severe injuries were hospitalized.
Three people were taken into custody in connection with the accident and an investigation is under way, added the report, without disclosing the nationality of the two dead.
In the other accident, 12 Russian tourists were injured when their tour bus hit an utility pole in Serik town of the southern resort city of Antalya on the way to the Antalya airport for their journey back to their country, said Anatolia.
