U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for South Asia Richard Boucher arrived here on Wednesday for an official visit to Pakistan, private TV channel Geo reported.

Boucher will discuss strategic relations, free and fair elections in Pakistan, bilateral anti-terrorism cooperation and recently held Pak-Afghan Jirga in Kabul with Pakistani officials.

Boucher is scheduled to meet with President General Pervez Musharraf, Foreign Minister Khurshid Mehmood Kasuri and other senior officials and political figures.
