The United States will give aid to Pakistan for fight against terrorism, development of the marble mining system in tribal areas and elimination of poppy cultivation, Pakistani Interior Minister Aftab Ahmad Sherpao said here Thursday.

After his meeting with visiting U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Richard Boucher, Sherpao told journalists that a bill related to reconstruction zones in the tribal areas would be presented in the U.S. Congress in a month, which would make the U. S. market accessible for industrial products from Pakistan's tribal areas.

Sherpao also said that the U.S. had accepted the decisions taken by the Pakistan-Afghanistan Peace Jirga and agreed to continue efforts for the inclusion of peace-loving Taliban in the peace process.

During the one-hour meeting, Boucher expressed satisfaction over and support for the Pak-Afghan strategy to curb terrorism.
