Morocco has issued 11,104,940 voter cards for the forthcoming legislative elections which are slated for September 7, according to a statement published Thursday by the Moroccan Interior Ministry.
Saying that only 72 percent of all potential voters in the country had been issued with voter cards so far, the ministry announced that the issuance of voting cards will continue till September 6, a day before the elections.
In addition, the ministry appealed to voters to claim their cards at the closest local administration offices so as to be ready to exercise their constitutional rights during the elections.
