Declaration of candidature for Morocco's parliamentary elections slated for September 7 will begin on Friday, the Moroccan Interior Ministry said in a statement on Thursday.
In conformity with the current law, any person wishing to contest a parliamentary seat must be registered on the electoral list, be at least 23 years old at the time of voting and must not have been declared ineligible for election in accordance with parliament's organic law, said the statement.
The ministry also announces that electoral campaigns will begin on August 25 and end on September 6.
