The Guinean government wants to further strengthen bilateral relations with Angola, particularly in the economic sector, Angola's official news agency ANGOP quoted Guinean President Lansana Conte as reporting on Friday.
Meeting with Angolan ambassador Brito Sozinho to Guinea, the Guinean president stressed the privileged and long lasting relations between Guinea and Angola, saying that the two countries should "hard work towards the development and deepening of mutual relationship in various domains."
In his turn, the Angolan ambassador expressed the sentiment of esteem and gratitude of the country for Guinea's assistance, solidarity and fraternity.
