Palestinian Fighters affiliated with President Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah fired a home-made rocket into southern Israel city of Sderot on Thursday.
Israeli sources said the rocket landed on a building and caused damages, adding that the attack also caused panic among residents.
Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades of Fatah said its militants have fired the missile in the morning in response to the Israeli raids on the Gaza Strip.
On Wednesday, three cousin Palestinian children died in Israeli tank shelling in northern Gaza Strip. The children were killed when they approached an abandoned rocket launcher used earlier by Islamic Jihad (Holy War) militants to shell Sderot, a southern Israeli town.
A Jihad leader in Gaza accused Israel of "deliberately killing the children."
"The soldiers can allocate the designated target so the tank doesn't fire randomly," he said, adding that he expected an escalation of conflicts between the Palestinians and Israel in the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip.
