Seven security personnel were killed and several others were injured when some unidentified miscreants attacked a Frontier Constabulary (FC) check post in northwest Pakistan on Thursday night, a local newspaper The News reported on Friday.

Some FC officials in Swat of North West Frontier Province were attacked by some unidentified militants with explosive materials. When a police van arrived to provide help to FC officials, militants blew up the van, according to the report of The News.

Seven security personnel including five FC officials and two policemen lost their lives and several others suffered injuries in the attack.
