Two minors were killed when an unidentified group hurled a socket bomb at them in south Nepal Thursday, local leading media group's website www.eKantipur.com reported on Friday.

At Sikraun in Siraha district, some 150 km southeast of capital Kathmandu, on Thursday night, the children were playing at the porch in house when the bomb went off at around 8:30 p.m. (1445 GMT), according to local police.

Madhav Yadav, 7, and Upendra Yadav, 8, died on the spot, the police added.

No one has taken the responsibility for the bombing so far.
