Jordan's King Abdullah II issued a Royal Decree on Sunday, approving a reshuffle in the government led by Prime Minister Marouf Bakhit.
In this Cabinet reshuffle, Bakhit brought in three new ministers -- Minister of Finance Hamad Kasasbah, Minister of Health Salah Mawajdah and Minister of Water and Irrigation Mohammad Shatnawi.
Former Deputy Premier and Finance Minister Ziyad Fariz tendered his resignation to Bakhit after the two differed publicly on the need to raise fuel prices on August 21, according to local media reports.
In addition, the Ministers of Water Mohammad al-Alem and Public Health Saad Kharabsheh resigned on July 30 over water contamination at a Jordanian village.
