A small explosion happened on a highway in northern Spain on Sunday, but no one was hurt, the interior ministry said.
It was suspected that the explosion was initiated by the Basque separatist group ETA.
The explosion occurred on a highway near the town of Fuenmayor in the Rioja region, some 300 kilometers north of Madrid.
The highway was closed before the explosion thanks to a warning call a few hours ago.
