Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and Russian President Vladimir Putin are to meet in Jakarta on Thursday, Indonesian presidential spokesman said on Tuesday.
Spokesman Dino Patti Djalal said that President Putin would make an official visit to Indonesia to reciprocate the visit of President Yudhoyono to Russia in December 2006.
Apart from holding a bilateral meeting with Yudhoyono, President Putin was also scheduled to meet Indonesian Vice President Jusuf Kalla, visit Kalibata Heroes` Cemetery, and attend an Indonesian-Russian Business Forum, which would be organized by the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin), Djalal said in the side line of President Susilo visit in Surabaya, the capital of East Java province.
The spokesman said that the visit was very significant because it would be the first visit of Russia's president to Indonesia since 1990.
