Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao met on Thursday in Dalian with Singaporean Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong, who is here to attend the World Economic Forum's The Inaugural Annual Meeting of the New Champions in northeastern China's coastal city of Dalian.

Both sides spoke positively of the sound momentum of China- Singapore relations and agreed to carry out cooperation in building ecological cities.

The two leaders also agreed to explore new cooperative projects including tapping the Changxing Island of Liaoning province, making efforts to achieve sustainable development and economic profits.

More than 1,700 participants are present at the summer Davos meeting from Sept. 6 to 8.
