Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and his entourages left for Sydney Friday to attend the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit that kicked off Saturday.
He was accompanied by Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Boediono, State Secretary Hatta Radjasa, State Minister for the Environment Rachmat Witoelar, State Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs Adyaksa Dault, senior advisor Emil Salim, and Investment Coordinating Board Chairman Mohammad Lutfi.
The presidential office said earlier Susilo had scheduled a meeting with U.S. President George W. Bush to discuss environment issues and bilateral relations on the sidelines of the summit.
During his stay there, the president will deliver a speech to the APEC Business Advisory Council, the presidential office said.
