Singapore, Libya discuss ways to further cooperation

Singapore and Libya on Monday discussed ways to further enhance and expand bilateral cooperation.

Mahmoud Gebril, the secretary of the National Planning Council and Director General of the National Economic Development Board of Libya, met with Singapore's Minister for Foreign Affairs George Yeo, the Foreign Ministry said.

The discussions focused on how economic relations with Libya can be deepened as well as potential cooperation in the areas of civil service training and national education policy and curriculum development.

During his visit to Singapore, Gebril will also meet with Singapore's Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) and some statutory boards.
