Singapore and Vietnam on Tuesday agreed to cooperate on two new areas of urban development as well as port and logistics.
This move was endorsed by Singapore's Minister for Trade and Industry Lim Hng Kiang, and Vietnamese Minister for Planning and Investment Vo Hong Phuc, at the second Connectivity Ministerial Meeting held in Singapore.
Through this cooperation, Singapore will share its public sector experience in the planning, development and management of urban infrastructure projects with Vietnam, Singapore's Ministry of Trade and Industry said in a statement.
Both sides also agreed to use Singapore's know-how, best practices and connectivity to develop Vietnam's ports and land- side logistics infrastructure.
The two countries also agreed to cooperate on school twinning programs, language learning and staff exchange.
