The Colombian government will extradite four citizens to stand trial in the United States on drugs trafficking and other charges, a government statement said Tuesday.
The four suspects are Ricardo Gonzalez Durango, Cesar Julian Parra Montoya, Jesus Antonio Murillo Lenis and David Palacios Beltran, the statement said.
Gonzalez and Julian will be tried in New York, Murrillo in the District of Colombia, and Palacios in Florida, it said.
Colombia has extradited over 650 people, most of them to the United States for drug trafficking since President Alvaro Uribe took power in 2002.
