Indonesian Vice President Jusuf Kalla said on Friday that the high world's oil price did not affect on Indonesia's economy.
The vice president said that the increase of the oil price up to 80 U.S. dollars per barrel had made the government got more revenue from its oil export, but at the same time the government must also pay higher subsidy on the sector.
"We got higher revenue, but we also pay higher subsidies," he told a press conference at his house here.
"It does not affect our state budget. It only happens shifting on revenue and subsidies," he added.
The vice president cited that the government would not increase the subsidy on oil sector in the country, so that it led the increasing of the number of subsidies.
