Exiled former Pakistani Prime Minister and chairperson of opposition Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Benazir Bhutto will return to the country on Oct. 23 or 24, local TV channel DAWN NEWS reported on Friday.

"I can not be deported from the country like Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz chief Nawaz Sharif," Bhutto earlier said in an interview with another local TV channel Geo.

The schedule of Bhutto's return would be formally announced by PPP party leaders in news conferences to be held simultaneously in eight cities, including Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta, Muzaffarabad, Gilgit and Fata in the country, according to a report of a leading newspaper DAWN on Friday.

There is no immediate confirmation about the DAWN NEWS report about Bhutto's return.
