Three people were killed and seven others wounded in separate roadside bomb attacks in the Iraqi capital on Sunday, an Interior Ministry source said.
A civilian was killed and three others were injured when a roadside bomb went off around midday in the neighborhood of Harthiyah, the source told Xinhua on condition of anonymity.
Another roadside bomb explosion struck Baghdad's western neighborhood of Ma'moun, killing a civilian and wounding two others, the source said.
A third roadside bomb detonated the Sha'b neighborhood in northern Baghdad, killing a civilian and wounding two more others, according to the identical source.
Violence continues infesting Baghdad's streets despite the U.S. army's surge in the war-torn country in a bid to rein in the unbridled insurgency.
