South Korea and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) have agreed on details of the upcoming inter-Korean summit set for Oct. 2 -4, said South Korean Vice Unification Minister Lee Kwan-se on Friday.
Lee returned to Seoul from Pyongyang on Friday with a group of South Korean officials, who made a four-day trip to Pyongyang to prepare for the summit.
South Korea and DPRK have settled some issues concerning South Korean President Roh Moo-hyun's schedule, accommodation, itinerary and the location of his talks with DPRK top leader Kim Jong-il, Lee said.
According to Lee, Roh and Kim Jong-il will hold several summit meetings during Roh's visit to Pyongyang. Roh will also meet with Kim Yong-nam, president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, during the visit.
Officials of South Korea and DPRK will hold group meetings separately in seven fields during the period of the summit, Lee said.
Roh will visit the inter-Korean industrial complex in DPRK's border city of Kaesong on Oct.4, Lee told a news conference.
To resolve outstanding issues, the government will send a second preparation team on next Thursday after Korea's traditional holiday of Chuseok, the Unification Ministry said.
