Members of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), the country's top advisory body,celebrated Mid-Autumn Day on Monday night.
Jia Qinglin, chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, joined more than 300 political advisors and people from all walks of life, in a celebration party in Beijing and extended festival greetings to political advisors across the country.
Mid-Autumn Day, along with the Spring Festival, or the Chinese New Year, are traditional Chinese festivals for family reunions.
