Palestinian militants in Gaza Strip and West Bank reported on Wednesday they have received threats of killings on their mobile telephones from Israeli intelligence.
Palestinian security sources said that among the threats were " We are going to blow up your head, we will rip you apart and your house will be destroyed on you and your family."
The caller on the other end introduces himself as an Israeli intelligence agent, the sources said. The threats were meant to urge the fighters to stop firing home-made rockets on Israeli towns near Gaza, added the sources.
Moreover, Palestinian fighters based in southern Gaza Strip also reported they received death threats from anonymous callers ordering them to release Gilad Shalit, a captive Israeli soldier in Gaza since June 2006.
Last year, the Israeli aircrafts bombed tens of houses in Gaza Strip after using anonymous numbers to give the owners warnings to evacuate their homes.
