The immigration office in Indonesia's Maluku Province has deported six foreigners for immigration offenses, local press said Saturday..

A Thai national and five Myanmar citizens have departed from Tual district for Bangkok, reported the national Antara news agency.

The five are crew members of fishing boats operating in the Maluku waters, and mostly did not have passports or immigration documents required under Indonesian laws, it said.

Since January 2007, the immigration office had deported 73 foreigners consisting of among others 34 Myanmar nationals, 24 Thai nationals, and 12 Cambodians.
