Kim Jong Il, top leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), Tuesday greeted South Korean President Roh Moo-hyun upon his arrival here for an inter-Korean summit.

Kim Jong Il shook hands with Roh at a grand welcoming ceremony held for Roh and his 300-member delegation at the Square of April 25 Cultural Hall.
