Three people were killed and nine others injured, including policemen, in two roadside bomb attacks in Baghdad on Tuesday, an Interior Ministry source said.
A twin roadside bomb explosion struck a police patrol in the Salman Pak area in southeastern Baghdad early in the morning, damaging two police vehicles, killing a policeman and wounding five others aboard, the source told Xinhua on condition of anonymity.
About an hour later, a roadside bomb detonated near the commercial compound of al-Mission in southern Baghdad, killing two people and wounding four others, the source said.
The blast damaged several nearby civilian cars, shops and building, he said.
