S. Korean president leaves Pyongyang after inter-Korean summit |

South Korean President Roh Moo-hyun left here Thursday after meeting top leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Kim Jong Il, for summit talks focused on promoting peace and cooperation on the Korean Peninsula.
Earlier in the day, the two leaders issued a joint declaration reaffirming their commitment to promoting peace on the peninsula and economic cooperation between the two sides. They had two rounds of talks on Wednesday.
Roh will stop off to visit an inter-Korean industrial complex in the DPRK's border city of Kaesong on his way back to Seoul.
