The opposition People's Party of Pakistan (PPP) led by former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto will announce their strategy for the presidential elections on Saturday, a local TV channel DAWN NEWS reported.

The PPP will either abstain or vote for their candidate Makhdoom Amin Faheem, according to DAWN NEWS.

The PPP will not vote for President Pervez Musharraf because he is still the Army Chief, Makhdoom Amin Faheem was quoted by DAWN NEWS as saying.

The PPP announced on Friday that their parliamentarians would not resign from the National and provincial assemblies.

The presidential poll is scheduled to last from 10:00 a.m. ( 0500 GMT) to 3:00 p.m. (1000 GMT) on Saturday.
