South Korea and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) agreed on Friday to hold prime ministerial talks on Nov. 14-16, said the South Korean Unification Ministry.
The agreement was made at a preparatory meeting between officials of the two sides in DPRK's border city of Kaesong.
According to South Korean officials, the two sides discussed details of the upcoming inter-Korean talks between South Korean Prime Minister Han Duck-soo and his DPRK counterpart Kim Yong-il.
They exchange their views on the number of the delegation as well as the agenda and schedule, local media said.
Under a declaration signed by South Korean President Roh Moo-hyun and DPRK top leader Kim Jong-il on Oct. 4, DPRK Prime Minister Kim Yong-il will visit Seoul in November in a bid to implement the agreements reached between Roh Moo-hyun and Kim Jong-il.
