One policeman was killed and two others wounded in an attack by unidentified gunmen in a Russian town on Monday, Itar-Tass reported.
The attackers opened fire at a police patrol near a gas station on the outskirts of the Caucasus city of Nalchik and then escaped.
Police has blocked the area and is searching for the attackers.
