Four Russian parties won enough ballots in Sunday's elections to clear the seven percent threshold for entering the State Duma, the lower house of parliament.
The four parties, out of the 11 parties in the run-on, include the United Russia, the Communist Party, Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR) and the Fair Russia, preliminary results showed.
The United Russia won 62.3 percent of ballots, the Communist party won 11.8 percent, LDPR won 8.4 percent and the Fair Russia won 8.3 percent, authorized exit polls showed. Source: Xinhua
