President Vladimir Putin's party, United Russia, won 63.2 percent of votes in the elections to the State Duma, the lower house of parliament, the latest official figure show.
The result was announced by the Central Elections Commission at08:00 local time (0500 GMT) Monday, with 91.6 percent of ballots counted.
The other parties to have cleared the seven-percent threshold to gain seats in parliament include the Communist Party, the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR) and the Fair Russia party.
The elections began at 2000 GMT Saturday, with 108 million eligible voters and a turnout exceeding 60 percent. Source: Xinhua
