An earthquake with magnitude of 5.3 on the Richter scale rocked Aceh province in northern tip of Sumatra Island on Friday, no report of damages or casualty, Indonesian Meteorology and Geophysics Agency said here.
The quake struck at 15:09 Jakarta time (0809 GMT) with epicenter at 79 km southwest Banda Aceh, the capital of the province and at 22 km in depth, an official of the agency said.
