Singapore on Wednesday strongly condemned the car bombing attacks in the Algeria's capital of Algiers that killed more than 60 people and left 100 others injured early Tuesday.
"Singapore deplores the bomb attacks that took place on Dec. 11, 2007 in Algiers, Algeria. These acts of violence and terror have killed and injured innocent civilians, including children," the Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
Singapore strongly condemned the targeting of the office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and its staff, the statement said, adding that the city state firmly stood with the international community to support the efforts of the Algerian government and its people to combat the scourge of terrorism.
