Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen on Thursday said that he plans to have a special ministers' meeting on bus traveling from Phnom Penh to Koh Kong province.

"We have to see clear situation of economic development of the country," Hun Sen told a graduation ceremony of about 1,500 students in Phnom Penh.

Part of the journey is on a restored national road which links Sihanoukville to Koh Kong province near the Thai border, he added.

"In the past, we had a ministers' meeting on national road one, which links Phnom Penh to Vietnam. During that time, the road was not restored yet and there were some holes and dirt," Hun Sen said.

"I want my ministers to see the situation clearly and decide what we should develop first," he added.

Generally, the ministers' meeting is held at the office of council of ministers in Phnom Penh.
